Most people start a business to make money. I started Thrive Roofing because I got cheated.
Years ago, I hired a contractor to build my own home. He walked away and left me with over $150,000 in damage. It took me three years just to finish my house.
I sat in my unfinished home and made a promise to myself. I will never let another family go through what I went through.
I do not think most contractors are bad people. But when a job costs more than expected, corners get cut. That is when roofs fail and families get hurt. We price our work so that never happens. We are not the cheapest. But we stand behind every job, and if something goes wrong, we will make it right.
That is what a contractor cost me. It took three years to fix. That experience is why Thrive Roofing exists.
