Most people start a business to make money. I started Thrive Roofing because I know what it feels like to be cheated.
Years ago, I hired a contractor to build my own home. He walked away and left me with over $150,000 in damages. It took me three long years just to get my house finished.
I sat in my unfinished home and made a promise: I will never let another family go through what I went through.
I do not think most contractors are bad people. Many of them do not even realize it is happening. A job can look like a 20 percent profit on paper. But after unexpected expenses, material costs, and a callback or two, that same job can end up losing money. When a contractor is in that position, corners get cut. That is when roofs fail and families get hurt. We price our work so that does not happen. We are not the cheapest. But we stand behind every job and we will still be here 30 years from now if something goes wrong.
That is what a contractor cost me. It took three years to fix. That experience is why Thrive Roofing exists.

My grandma, Lyudmila, lives right here in Feeding Hills. When her roof started failing, my brother stepped in and helped me take care of it.
