WHAT IS FASCIA AND SOFFIT?

The fascia is the flat board that runs along the edge of your roof where your gutters attach. The soffit is the underside of your roof overhang. Both protect your home from water and pests. Both are hidden behind your gutters where damage is easy to miss.

Fascia Repair

Rotting fascia lets water into your roof structure and walls. We replace damaged sections with aluminum-wrapped or PVC fascia that will never rot again.

Soffit Repair

Damaged soffit lets pests into your attic and blocks the ventilation your roof needs. We replace it with vented soffit panels that protect and breathe.

Curb Appeal

New fascia and soffit make your home look finished and well-maintained. It is one of the highest-return improvements you can make before selling.

WARNING SIGNS YOU NEED FASCIA OR SOFFIT REPAIR

Paint peeling or bubbling on the boards at the edge of your roofline

Gutters pulling away from the house or sagging in sections

Dark staining or soft spots on the boards behind your gutters

Visible holes, cracks, or gaps in the soffit panels under your eaves

Wasps, bees, or birds entering through gaps in the soffit

Increased energy bills from poor attic ventilation

Water stains on the exterior walls below your roofline

MATERIALS WE USE

Aluminum Wrapped Fascia

The most popular choice. Aluminum wrapping over wood protects against moisture and never needs painting. Matches any gutter color.

PVC Fascia and Soffit

100% moisture proof. Ideal for homes with a history of rot. Will not warp, crack, or rot under any conditions.

Vented Soffit Panels

Allows proper airflow into your attic, reducing heat buildup in summer and moisture in winter. Required by code in most new construction.

Solid Soffit Panels

Used in areas where ventilation is provided elsewhere. Provides a clean, finished appearance under your eaves.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know if my fascia is rotting?

The most common signs are paint peeling at the roofline, gutters pulling away from the house, and soft or discolored wood visible behind the gutters. We inspect fascia on every gutter job and will tell you exactly what we find.

Can you replace fascia without replacing the gutters?

Yes, but if your gutters are more than 10 years old, it often makes sense to replace both at the same time. Removing and reinstalling old gutters can damage them, and new gutters on new fascia will last much longer.

Does damaged soffit affect my energy bills?

Yes. Blocked or damaged soffit reduces attic ventilation, which causes heat to build up in summer and moisture to accumulate in winter. Proper soffit ventilation can meaningfully reduce cooling costs and prevent moisture damage.

How long does fascia and soffit repair take?

Most fascia and soffit repairs are completed in one day. Full replacements on larger homes may take two days. We give you a timeline before we start.

THE SPOTLESS YARD PROMISE

We use a magnetic sweep after every job. Your garden is protected. Your flowers stay safe. Your kids and pets can play outside the same day we finish.
