How It Works
WHAT TO EXPECT
We inspect your system
We check all panels for dirt, damage, and any critter activity before we start cleaning.
We clean with deionized water
We use pure deionized water and soft brushes to remove all dirt without scratching the glass surface.
We rinse and dry
We rinse thoroughly and squeegee the panels to prevent water spots that can reduce output.
We check for damage
While we are up there, we check for any cracked panels, loose wiring, or signs of critter damage.

How often should I clean my solar panels?
At least once a year. In Western MA, we recommend spring cleaning after pollen season and a check in fall before winter.
Can rain clean my panels?
Rain helps but it is not enough. Rain does not remove pollen, bird droppings, or tree sap effectively. You still need manual cleaning.
Will cleaning void my panel warranty?
No, as long as it is done correctly. We use methods recommended by panel manufacturers.
How much does it cost?
Most homes pay between $150 and $350 for a full panel cleaning depending on system size and roof access.
Can I clean them myself?
You can, but getting on a roof safely is dangerous. We do not recommend it. The cost of professional cleaning is much less than an injury.
